You are able to transmute a set of Essentia into Gold using the Crucible. This is useful if you find yourself with a lot of Ore you don't want, and you really want some Gold.

Advanced UsesEdit

Do not use Ingots for this recipe if possible. Breaking an ingot down into nine nuggets will usually give you more Metallum overall allowing you to get a much more fair conversion ratio.

This Research is required for all the other Metal Transmutations including; Iron, Silver, Tin, Lead, and Copper.

Thaumonomicon EntryEdit

You are now able to transform basic metals like iron into golden nuggets. The transformation is not without cost and loss however, but one can never have too much gold, can one?
